Baby Whale Shark Rescued

Activists in the Philippines rescued a 15 inch long baby Whale Shark found on a beach with a rope wrapped about it's tail. The rescuers freed the small creature and released it in deeper waters of the coast of Manila.

This is the smallest whale shark ever recorded and raises speculation as to the specie's breeding grounds. Whale Sharks are the largest fish in the world which can grow to 40 feet long.
