A 73 pound loggerhead sea turtle swam up onto the dock of the only licensed veterinary clinic in the world specializing solely in treating sea turtles. At first workers thought the animal was resting or got lost. But after a few hours, they discovered the sea turtle was suffering from a bacterial infection. She is currently being well cared for and will be released once she is well. Either that sea turtle is extremely smart or got a good referral from her fellow sea turtles. Personally, I think it is the later.

ReplyDeleteI caught this story yesterday, and thought it was hilarious. Apparently, she waited there for sometime, as the doctors at first thought she had just wandered up and they were waiting for her to go away. She knew better, and stuck around til someone examined her. Brilliant :)
