Trashy Inauguration

After the most historic inauguration to date, pick-up trucks hauled away nearly 130 tons of trash (1 ton = 2000 pounds). The National Park Service reported a pick up of about 100 tons of trash at the Mall and by the White House alone. Considering President Obama's promise to bring forth more sound environmental policies, this trashy report is quite ironic to say the least.
