Welcome to the Earth Chatter Archive page.

Earth Chatter is my personal blog where I write about animal and environmental issues happening throughout the planet. To eliminate congestion and confusion, I created this site to store older posts. In a nut-shell, this is the Earth Chatter Library. Feel free to look around.

Rare Whale Shark Rescued!

Yesterday in Taiwan, a rescue crew made up of the coast guard, fire fighters, and local fishermen helped to save a rare and endangered whale shark that swam into a canal while apparently hunting for food. The rescue took over eight hours and was successful. The whale shark is the world's largest fish and can weigh up to 21 tons and grow to over 40 feet long.

It is nice to read about a happy ending from time to time.
