Wind revolution in Texas

Texas cattle rancher Mike Baca is rallying support for harnessing the wind as a source of renewable energy. Click here to read the BBC News article in full.

What I found interesting about this article is the fact that a successful wealthy farmer from Texas is spending his time promoting energy other than oil. It just proves that people are realizing the need to research and utilize other forms of energy in order to make the country self sufficient and less reliant on foreign sources as well as create energy that is healthier for our environment. This type of reasoning is in my opinion more realistic and efficient. The current trend of focusing completely on climate change should not undermine the importance of how alternate forms of energy are beneficial. Mike Baca's example proves just that. What do you think?
