Evidence of real mystical creature found?

Last week CNN posted an article about the discovery of what appears to be a mutant or defective coyote. However, local residents in Blanco, Texas, where the animal was found, believe the animal might be the mystical creature Chupacabra. The creature is translated in Spanish as goat sucker and is believed to possess powers of hypnosis which it uses to immobilize its prey. The urban myth of the Chupacabra began in the early 1990's and has been featured in many sci fi shows including X-Files.


Though I believe in the existence of mystical creatures I also believe in science. More than likely the animal found is a disfigured coyote probably as a result of inbreeding. Samples have been taken from the animal which will hopefully answer the question of what it was.
