Welcome
Welcome to the Earth Chatter Archive page.
Earth Chatter is my personal blog where I write about animal and environmental issues happening throughout the planet. To eliminate congestion and confusion, I created this site to store older posts. In a nut-shell, this is the Earth Chatter Library. Feel free to look around.

Update to tragic chimp attack...
The extent of injuries suffered from a pet chimp attack upon a family friend was reported on a local t.v. station. The poor woman lost both her eyes, her nose, and large section of her jaw. She is still in critical condition. In addition, as a result of this tragedy, Connecticut Attorney General Blumenthal has asked the state government to begin re-writing the current state law on pet ownership to include a complete ban on any and all wild animals. All I can say is this: It is a bigger tragedy that it took this incident, which should never have happened in the first place, to open up the eyes of the state government about this whole topic.

That's horrible. I don't think it's even possible to imagine the amount of pain and fear she went through...it's just so sad that this whole scenario could have been EASILY avoided.
ReplyDeleteYou have to ask: how can people be so stupid?
